Using COMSEE as a supplier
Updated October 29, 2026
For makers, wholesalers and producers (suppliers): register products and terms, look for sales partners, compare and choose applications, check matching operators, answer inquiries and questions, and move closed deals forward.
What suppliers can do
A supplier organization works on getting live commerce operators to sell its products. To get started, see "For suppliers" in Getting started.
- Products and terms: register products and terms such as wholesale price, minimum lot and the quantity you can supply.
- Partner offers: look for operators to sell your products, then compare and choose the applications you receive.
- Inquiries: answer applications, proposed terms and confirmation requests from operators.
- Closed deals: move shipping, streams, ratings and reorders forward after a deal closes.
- Sourcing requests: propose your products to operators looking for products with certain terms.
Your sales and costs are not shown to operators. What operators see is your products and terms, offers, the terms in each conversation, and your trading record (commitment fulfillment rate, average rating and sample adoption rate).
From operators, you receive their public profile (their own declaration) and the shop track record they chose to share (a summary of their TikTok Shop records). Both include only what the operator chose to publish.
Home
- "New product" and "Find sales partners" are at the top right (for people who can edit).
- The top story shows what to handle first, such as an offer whose applications you need to choose from or a conversation waiting for your reply. For an offer with applications from two or more companies, the applications are shown as bars by expected amount received. Next to the story are the list of what to do next and "Your record as operators see it" (fulfillment rate, average rating and sample adoption rate, each shown from 3 entries).
- The "Operators looking for products" bar scrolls through open sourcing requests that fit your products. Operator names are not shown. Select one to open the sourcing request.
- Below are a shelf of "Open calls for sales partners" (soonest deadline first, with a line for the remaining quantity at the bottom of each photo), "Sourcing requests that fit your products", and regulatory updates related to your product categories.
Register products and terms
- Select "New product" under "Products and terms".
- Paste the text of a product page, a spec sheet or photos and select "Draft with AI"; COMSEE AI drafts the entry. Fields it could not read are marked as needing input. Check and correct the content before saving.
- The wording of the product name and description is checked against a dictionary of regulations.
The list's tabs switch between All, Open calls, Applications and Checks left. On each card, a sellability tag is at the top left of the photo, and the wholesale price, price range, minimum lot, stock, the status of the latest offer and the number of closed deals are below it. When at least one operator matches, a "N matching operators" tag is added (only for suppliers COMSEE has reviewed).
A product's details show the six sellability items next to the photo, and the tabs under the photo (tabs with nothing to show are hidden).
- Deals: the number of offers, inquiries and closed deals, and the history of trades (newest first).
- Product and terms: what you registered.
- Sellability: six items (price, shipping, LIVE, selling point, supply and trading) shown as meets, to confirm or missing. Fix missing items on the product.
- Preview: a sample of the card shown in operators' "Find products", and which items operators can and cannot see.
- Supply allocations and Checklist: how many units can be reserved within COMSEE, and the items to confirm.
- Matching requests: sourcing requests that fit this product.
- Matching operators: operators whose published shop track record fits this product's category and suggested retail price (next section).
Matching operators
The "Matching operators" tab of a product lists operators whose published shop track record fits this product. The only data used is the summary of TikTok Shop records that each operator chose to publish. Figures are shown as ranges.
- Reasons are written like "In a category including food, orders in the last 30 days: 300–999" or "Best-selling price range (¥1,000–2,999) overlaps your suggested retail price". No scores are given.
- Operators you have talked with: shown with name and logo. Select one to open their public profile and shop track record.
- Other operators: shown as "Operator", without a name. Names appear once they apply or message you. Any operator can apply to an offer you publish to everyone. "Create an offer for this product" creates an offer.
- Without a category or suggested retail price, nothing can be compared. Enter them in Product and terms.
On the offer creation screen, "Operators that match this product" on the right also shows how many operators match the product you chose.
You can open an operator's public profile and shop track record from a row in the application comparison, the "Counterpart" tab of an inquiry and the counterpart of a closed deal. The shop track record carries a "TikTok Shop" tag showing where it comes from and lists only the items the operator chose to publish among orders and sales by category, orders in the last 30 days, sales in the last 30 days, LIVE sessions, videos with views and best-selling price ranges.
Look for sales partners
- Select "New offer" under "Partner offers" ("Find sales partners" on Home).
- Fill in "Type and goal", "Product", "Terms and roles" and "Visibility" in that order. For each term, choose Required, Preferred, Negotiable or Undecided. Required terms appear as tags on operators' screens.
- For visibility, choose "Named operators only", "Operators you've traded with" or "Everyone". The application deadline is between tomorrow and 90 days from now. On the right are a sample of the card in "The listing operators will see", the number in "Operators that match this product", and "Operators to name".
- Select "Save draft" or "Publish offer". Operators see the products and terms as they were when you published.
The list's tabs switch between All, Open, Choosing, Drafts and Closed. To stop taking new applications, select "Close" on the offer. Conversations in progress continue until their reply deadline.
Compare and choose applications
The top of an offer shows the number of applications and the largest expected amount received. "Compare applications" on the "Applications" tab lists the applications by expected amount received, largest first, and compares their terms in a table.
- The rows are deal type, proposed unit price, proposed purchase quantity, proposed wholesale amount, sales target, owner of the product page and live, owner of shipping to consumers, start, basis, and open issues on the deal sheet. Under each company at the top of a column are its public profile declaration and one line of shop track record with a "Shop track record" tag. Select the company to open its public profile and shop track record. The best values get a "Highest", "Largest", "Most" or "Earliest" tag. Other operators do not see each other's applications.
- "Start negotiating" at the top of a column opens the deal sheet of the conversation with that company. From "…", you can ask a question or pass. Passing tells that company it was not chosen.
- Selecting "Close the deal with this company" below a column shows the expected amount received and what happens after the deal closes in the bar at the bottom. "Close the deal with ..." closes it, and a case is created in that operator's organization.
- Within the offer's quantity, you can choose any number of companies, one at a time. Applications above the remaining quantity are marked "Exceeds the remaining quantity".
- When you are done, select "Finish selecting". The remaining applicants are told they were not chosen, and the offer closes. Choose before the selection deadline.
Answer inquiries and questions
- Inquiries: applications and proposed terms from operators, grouped by product. Tabs switch between All, Your turn, Their turn and Ended. Each group shows the product and the nearest reply deadline. Opening a row shows the tabs Deal sheet, Orders, Messages and meetings, Samples, Commitments, Checklist and Counterpart, along with "Accept", "Propose terms" and "Decline". The "Counterpart" tab shows the other side's public profile and a summary of their shop track record. The reply deadline is 7 days after the other side asks for a reply.
- Confirmation requests: when an operator asks you to confirm items on the checklist, the request appears in the conversation. Answer it with "Answer". The answer is shown only in the conversation with that operator, and your products and terms do not change.
- Questions about the offer: questions asked before applying arrive on the "Questions about the offer" tab of an offer. Answer them with "Answer". For questions that help other operators too, "Add to the offer's Q&A" publishes them in the offer's Q&A without the name of the company that asked.
Closed deals
"Closed deals" shows your closed deals as photo cards. The tabs switch between All, Open commitments, Reorders and Completed.
- After a deal closes, it moves through closed → shipped → streamed → rated → reordered. Cards and the details show the current step and what happens next.
- The details show "Goods and money" and "Commitments" (your shipping and the other side's streams) next to the photo, and progress and actions in the panel on the right. The tabs under the photo are Agreed terms, Deal sheet, Orders, Messages and Samples.
- Register your shipping commitment and record it when done. Commitments past due are shown in red text.
- Within 14 days of the deal, you can rate the trade once, 1 to 5 with a comment. Scores the other side gave you are not shown.
- When a reorder on the same terms arrives, answer it from "Reply to the request" on the deal.
Propose to sourcing requests
"Sourcing requests" lists the products operators are looking for and which of your products and terms match. Category, target price, stock, days to ship and temperature are checked against each request.
- Check the matching product and terms, and select "Propose".
- You propose terms with that product to the operator who posted the request. The other side has 7 days to reply.
- When the deal closes, a case is created in the operator's organization, and the deal appears in your "Closed deals".
