Connecting TikTok Shop
Updated September 26, 2026
How to connect your TikTok Shop to COMSEE, what data COMSEE reads, and how to reconnect or disconnect.
What connecting does
When you connect your TikTok Shop, COMSEE reads your shop's data through the official TikTok Shop API and shows your sales, products, LIVE and video figures. We never ask for your TikTok Shop password.
COMSEE does not change your shop's products, prices, inventory or orders. COMSEE currently only reads data.
Who can connect
Only owners of the organization can connect and reconnect a shop. For roles, see "Invite members" in Getting started.
Connect your shop
- Choose "Connect TikTok Shop" in the setup after approval, or in Settings under "Shop".
- The TikTok Shop page opens. Sign in with the account of the shop you want to connect and allow COMSEE access.
- You return to COMSEE. Right after connecting, we start importing your existing data.
In Settings, under "Shop", you can see each connected shop's name, shop ID, status, connection date and time zone.
Data COMSEE reads
- Products: active products, with price and inventory per SKU
- Orders: status, amount and items of orders from the first day of last month to today
- Returns and refunds: status and refund amount of returns in the last 30 days
- Sales performance: daily and hourly sales for the whole shop, and performance per product, SKU, video and LIVE
- Product categories
- Market best sellers: the top 100 products, creators, videos and LIVEs in your connected shop's market
- Notifications: notices from TikTok Shop when the status of an order, package, cancellation or return changes
How we handle the data
- Data we read is shown only to members of the organization that connected the shop. It never appears to other organizations or on public pages.
- We do not show buyers' names, addresses or contact details, and we do not use them to contact buyers.
- For details, see the Privacy Policy and Data & security.
Several shops
In Settings, under "Shop", choose "Connect another shop" to add a shop. Choose "View this shop" to switch the shop you are viewing.
Connection expiry and reconnecting
A TikTok Shop connection has an expiry date. Settings shows the number of days left under "Shop", and asks you to reconnect when fewer than 30 days remain.
If the connection has expired, or access was revoked on the TikTok Shop side, you will see "Connection expired" or "The TikTok Shop connection is no longer valid". Choose "Reconnect" and allow access again.
Disconnect
If you revoke COMSEE's access on the TikTok Shop side, COMSEE can no longer read that shop's data.
To disconnect on the COMSEE side, or to have the imported data deleted, please contact us.
Connecting TikTok Ads (optional)
In Settings, under "Ad account", choose "Connect TikTok Ads" to connect your TikTok Ads account as well. COMSEE reads your ad spend and shows it next to your orders and market figures. It does not create or change ads.
