What to prepare

Having the following ready before you register gets you proposals sooner.

  • Product details

    Photos, price, stock, specs (volume, size) and origin.

  • Labeling

    What's on your label: ingredients, allergens, best-before date, storage method and so on.

  • Evidence for any benefit claims

    If you use wording like "good for…", the materials that back it up. We check wording under the Premiums and Representations Act and the PMD Act.

  • If you sell rice

    Depending on volume, you may need to file a notification for shipping and selling rice. You also need to pass origin information to buyers and trading partners.

  • Shipping conditions

    Areas you ship to, temperature (ambient, chilled, frozen) and days to ship.

  • Settlement details

    Your bank account and qualified invoice issuer registration number, if you have one.

Do I need a TikTok account?

No. Streaming and selling happen in the shop of the agency you agree a deal with.

When are fees decided?

Before the deal is agreed, as part of its terms. Stream preparation starts after you accept them.

Can I register a small quantity?

Yes. We suggest the number of streams and product combinations that fit your stock.

Can I check what will be said in the stream?

You can review the script before the stream. Any wording you are concerned about is fixed before going live.

When will I know how it sold?

A report for each stream arrives by the next morning. On your shared page, you can check the schedule and sales at any time.
