Stream reviews and video diagnosis
Updated October 4, 2026
How to read sales and viewers by the minute for a finished stream, where sales dropped, the next-stream plan, and the video diagnosis that sorts videos into four states with proposals to change how they sell.
Where to find them
- Stream review: select a finished stream in the stream list and look at "Sales and viewers by the minute" on the stream page.
- Video diagnosis: "Video diagnosis" below the finished streams in the stream list. A product page shows the diagnosis for only the videos that feature that product.
Both use numbers imported from TikTok Shop analytics. Opening the screen does not query TikTok.
Sales and viewers by the minute
Shows the per-minute LIVE numbers imported from TikTok Shop analytics.
- Chart: sales (black line with a light fill) and viewers (thin grey line) on one chart. The horizontal axis is time since the stream started.
- Script sections and products: if each line of the script in the case's pre-check starts with a time, the script is overlaid as sections. Write a time such as "0:00" or "15:00" at the start of a line, followed by the section name (intro, demo and so on). A script that starts at 0:00 is read as elapsed time (minutes:seconds). A script written in clock times is converted to elapsed time by subtracting the stream's start. If a section's name or text mentions a product being sold, it is overlaid as a featured product. Scripts without times get no sections.
- When there are no per-minute numbers: streams whose numbers could not be imported from TikTok show one line saying so. Whether TikTok returns per-minute numbers for Japanese shops is still being confirmed. No made-up numbers are shown.
Where sales dropped
A drop is where sales per 5 minutes fall to half or less of that stream's median per 5 minutes. Consecutive drops are merged, and up to 3 are shown, largest gap from the median first.
- The chart's shaded areas and A/B marks, and the rows under the chart, show the time, sales (with the amount expected at the median), viewers (as a share of the stream's average), and the script section and products that overlap.
- These show what overlapped, not the cause.
- The first 10 minutes and streams shorter than 30 minutes are not checked.
- Review tasks: select "Make a review task" on a drop's row to create a task linked to the case, titled with the stream's date, the time range and the overlapping script section.
The next-stream plan
The COMSEE AI column on the right shows a draft of the next stream.
- The date and time are the same weekday and length as last time, starting at the beginning of the 60 minutes with the most sales (in 30-minute steps).
- Products, host, case and goal are carried over, and each product's current stock and pending deliveries are listed as the basis.
- Select "Propose the next plan" to place a proposal in Today's approvals. Approving it adds the stream to the schedule.
- Streams that were not scheduled, and cancelled schedules, cannot get a proposal.
The four video states
Each video's daily views, sales and product-page click rate are used to compare the last 7 days with the 28 days before. Views and sales are per day; sales per 1,000 views is sales ÷ views × 1,000.
- Falling: the video had at least 1,000 views a week in the previous 28 days, and daily views or sales are at or below 50% of before.
- Viewed but not selling: views are at or above the shop's median, and sales per 1,000 views are at or below 50% of the median.
- Selling but not viewed: views are at or below 50% of the shop's median, and sales per 1,000 views are at or above 150% of the median.
- Rising: daily sales are at or above 150% of the previous 28 days (including videos that start selling after not selling before).
The shop's median is taken over videos with at least 1,000 views a week recently. With fewer than 4 videos to compare, "Viewed but not selling" and "Selling but not viewed" are not judged, and the screen says so. Videos with fewer than 1,000 views a week are not judged; only their count is shown.
Changed numbers and changes to how a video sells
- Changed numbers: for each state, how views, product-page click rate, sales per 1,000 views and sales changed from before. These are not causes.
- Proposals: select "Propose a change in how it sells" to place a proposal suited to the state in Today's approvals: check the listing text and the video's pitch for videos viewed but not selling, review the featured product for falling videos, feature the product in the next LIVE for videos selling but not viewed, and make another video of the same type for rising videos. Approving it creates a task inside COMSEE. Nothing is written to TikTok videos or listings.
- Automatic proposals: for "Falling" and "Viewed but not selling" videos, COMSEE AI places the proposal in approvals after each daily import, without anyone selecting it.
- Drop-off seconds: when viewers drop off cannot be read from TikTok Shop analytics. For videos run as ads, check the ads screen.
COMSEE does not make clips, scripts or videos. Use the Seller Center features for that.
In a sample organization
A sample organization shows per-minute numbers and videos with sample values and says so in one line. Sample values are never mixed into an organization connected to a real TikTok Shop. For sample organizations, see Sample data and real data.
