Pre-check

What the pre-check does

The pre-check helps you reduce oversights before a stream or a listing goes live. Operators and specialists make the final judgment. COMSEE never says "this is a violation". It only says "Needs review: may ...".

The pre-check reads:

• Listings: the TikTok Shop product name, description, brand, variant attributes and the price of each variant
• Scripts: what the host says on stream
• Sales materials: what you give livers
• Proposals: the opening line, selling points and evidence, items to show, questions and answers, set contents and LIVE-only terms (the "do not say" list is not checked)

What it checks

• Dictionary check: picks up wording related to the PMD Act (treating or preventing disease, effects on body functions, the scope of cosmetic claims, guaranteed effects), the Premiums and Representations Act (superlatives and No.1 claims, absolute wording, dual prices) and stealth marketing rules (no PR disclosure, PR disclosures more than 15 minutes apart). Each item shows the law or guideline it is based on.
• Listing comparison: compares the brand, model number, quantity, price and effects in scripts, sales materials and proposals with the listing. COMSEE AI extracts the values from the text, and fixed rules decide whether they match (units are converted, so 1kg and 500g are compared correctly).

COMSEE AI always shows each extracted value together with where it came from in the original text. Quotes that are not in the original text and numbers that are not in the quote are not used. When COMSEE AI is unavailable, only the dictionary check is shown.

Add a script or sales material

1. On the case page, in "Pre-check", select "Add".
2. Enter the type (script or sales material), title and body, and select "Save".
3. If each line of a script starts with elapsed time (0:00, 15:00), the check also looks at the gaps between PR disclosures.

Read the listing text

On the product page, in "Pre-check", select "Read listing text" to read the description and brand from TikTok Shop. COMSEE only reads the listing and never changes it. To correct a listing, use Seller Center.

When a case product is linked to a TikTok product, the case pre-check compares that listing with the scripts, sales materials and proposal.

Run the check and review items

1. On the case page, product page or proposal, in "Pre-check", select "Run check".
2. The top of the section shows how many items need review and the first item.
3. Each item shows the sentence with the quote, the source, the basis, the confidence and how to fix it. "Dictionary match" means the word is in the text. It does not mean there is a violation.
4. Choose one of the following:

• Use suggestion: shown when COMSEE AI has a suggested fix for a script or sales material. The sentence is replaced with the suggestion and saved.
• Mark as resolved: select this after you correct the listing in Seller Center or the proposal on the proposal page.
• Dismiss: enter a reason. For example: the sentence is a negation, or the supporting evidence has been checked.

Each decision is recorded with who made it, when and what they chose (and the reason for dismissals). Select "Reopen" to put an item back in review. When you run the check again, decisions carry over for items whose sentence is still there.

If a script or listing changes after the last check, "Something changed after the last check" is shown. Run the check again.

See items waiting for review in Today

When items are waiting for review, a "pre-check items need review" row appears in "COMSEE AI at work" on Today. Select "Review" on the row to open the pre-check for that case or product.
